ANDROGENETIC ALOPECIA affects 70% of men and 40% of women of all ethnic groups

This condition is characterized by a progressive miniaturization of hair follicles in selected areas of the scalp, in genetically pre-disposed individuals.

The follicle weakens, the hair becomes thinner, more sparse, until it falls.

The cause is often multifactorial and includes stress, lack of micro or macro nutrients, incorrect lifestyles and above all it is produced by the synergy of two molecules that, in the case of genetically predisposed subjects, damages the hair bulb until its function is inhibited or its functionality reduced.

These two substances are:

  • dihydrotestorone (DHT), derived from the hormone testosterone

  • prostaglandins D2 (PGD2), which are mediators of inflammation

At Spectra Clinic we offer various treatments to help restore hair loss and promote hair growth. Our treatments are designed to be safe, effective, and personalized to suit your needs.

  • PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma):

PRP therapy is a non-surgical treatment that involves using the patient's own blood to stimulate hair growth. The procedure involves drawing a small amount of blood from the patient, processing it in a centrifuge to isolate the platelets and plasma, and then injecting the concentrated PRP into the scalp. PRP therapy helps to increase blood flow to the hair follicles, which in turn promotes hair growth. The treatment is minimally invasive, and patients can resume their normal activities immediately after the procedure.

  • Exosome Therapy:

Exosome therapy is a cutting-edge treatment that uses exosomes, which are tiny vesicles that contain growth factors and other regenerative molecules, to stimulate hair growth. The exosomes are harvested from mesenchymal stem cells and then injected or micro-needled into the scalp. Exosome therapy helps to increase hair density, thickness, and overall hair health. The treatment is safe and minimally invasive, and patients can resume their activities immediately after the procedure.

  • Mesotherapy Injections:

Mesotherapy injections involve injecting a customized cocktail of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into the scalp. The nutrients help to nourish and strengthen the hair follicles, which promotes hair growth. The treatment is minimally invasive, and patients can resume their normal activities immediately after the procedure. Mesotherapy injections can be customized to suit the patient's specific needs and can be used to treat both male and female pattern hair loss.

  • Hair Loss Autologous Regenerative Treatment with adipose tissue grafting:

The aim of the Regenerative Medicine is to reactivate the non-atrophic follicles (hair regrowth) and to cure the weak follicles cure the weak follicles that generate and inesthetic thin hair.

This innovative treatment involves the autologous and homologous graft of the Vasculo Stromal component (SVF) of the adipose tissue selected with the SEFFI (Superficial Enhanced Fluid Fat Injection) technique. After the addipose tissue has been harvested we then proceeded injecting the scalp with the stem cells that have been processed in a centrifuge.
